Minimum Requirements for SAGE Professionals

We uphold rigorous standards to ensure the competence and safety of our team. Only candidates who meet the following baseline criteria are considered:

  • Verified Driving Experience: Safety is paramount; therefore, all SAGE drivers must demonstrate a minimum of two years of professional driving experience before joining our fleet.

  • Certified Licensing: Every driver is required to possess a valid Hire Car License, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards for commercial transportation.

Comprehensive Assessment & Selection

Candidates who meet the minimum requirements proceed through a multi-stage assessment designed to confirm expertise and cultural fit:

  • On-site Aptitude Test: We assess foundational knowledge and technical skills to ensure candidates meet the high operational standards of SAGE.

  • Operational Interview: A one-on-one discussion with our Operations team evaluates the driver’s professional experience, commitment to service, and alignment with our safety protocols.

  • Real-World Road Test: Drivers must practically demonstrate their skills and safety consciousness under real-world conditions to finalize their driving qualification.

Advanced Certification and Preparation

All selected drivers undergo extensive training to ensure they are fully prepared and certified before taking their first trip:

  • Professional Orientation: Mandatory training covers essential HR policies, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) protocols, and thorough instruction on utilizing the SAGE driver application and dispatch system.

  • Safety and Defensive Driving Certification: Drivers receive specialized training focused on accident prevention, emergency response, and defensive techniques to enhance passenger safety and on-road competence.

  • Simulation and Mock Trials: Drivers practice accepting, executing, and completing simulated rides, providing essential hands-on experience and familiarity with all operational procedures prior to live deployment.
